Multi-Azimuth QC for Velocity Model Building - A Nile Delta Case Study

This is a case study from a six azimuth survey in the Nile Delta. We discuss the benefits of building a velocity model for depth imaging using multiple azimuths. In particular we show how important a careful analysis of the complex azimuthal moveout can be for adding resolution to the model. We focus on the type of QC displays that are useful to carry out this analysis and finally we show the results of applying this workflow to the BP Nile Delta dataset.
