Techniques improve subsalt imaging

Technological advances over the past decade have significantly improved the industry's ability to obtain accurate seismic images in subsalt. However, even with all the advances in imaging technology, there remain many geographic areas where obtaining an image of the subsurface structure beneath salt is still very challenging.
